Policy Statement

Benefit Plans, Inc. will not discriminate based on race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), sex, age, or disability in any of its health-related services or activities.

Procedures

We will:

  • Provide free language assistance services, including translated materials and interpreters, when needed.
  • Offer reasonable modifications and auxiliary aids and services (e.g., large print, braille, or interpreters) at no cost to individuals with disabilities.
  • Make information on how to request these services easily accessible.
  • Post a Notice of Nondiscrimination on our website and in visible office locations, and send it annually to enrollees and participants.
  • Inform individuals of how to file a grievance with our Compliance Coordinator or file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
