Anya’s award-winning service stems from 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry, backed by a Business Administration degree from Virginia Tech/ODU. She remains on the cusp of the learning curve in education and compliance training, and professionally networks through National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). Anya has lobbied on Capitol Hill, in Washington and Richmond, for federal and state regulations that protect the employer and efficiently improve benefit outcomes for all Americans without sacrificing quality. Since 2007, she also has served as an officer for the local and/or state boards of the NAHU, whose mission is to educate, influence, and inspire insurance professionals and legislators in shaping the future of health insurance.
Anya loves to work on home improvements—from exterior enhancements to kitchen remodels—because she relishes designing and managing the process, as well as seeing the progress from old to new. She also enjoys spending lazy rainy weekends on the couch with her dog, binge watching Netflix. When projects are done, Anya loves to hike, bike, or boat with a friend.
